Karabük GoTürkiye
A substantial part of Karabük is situated on the western extension of the North Anatolian Mountains. Karabük's canyons have a special status among its natural beauties. The canyons in Safranbolu emerged through deep cracks in the limestone layers. Other remarkable elements of Karabük are its caves and forests. With a total of 68.8% of forest area, it ranks first in Türkiye.
Its deep canyons, historic houses, caves, forests, and its history make Karabük one of the most popular cities of the West Black Sea Region. The city, which hosted the Hittite, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman civilizations, has a five-thousand-year history.
